Based on letterman sweaters from the 1890s, our elegant crew neck submariner is made using ethically sourced merino wool from the Andes Mountains in Peru. Famed for its thermoregulating qualities, wicking moisture away from the body while keeping you warm and dry, this pure merino garment is perfect for staying cozy during the winter as well as acting as an outer layer in the cooler evenings of fall and spring. Garment is 100% Peruvian merino wool spun in a luxurious mélange derived from a specialized blending process producing yarn with a subtle, multi-tonal heathered appearance, crewneck sweater with ribbed cuffs and hem, crease-resistant fabric that holds shape and color, fabric is naturally stain, odor, and water resistant, and crafted with care in Leicestershire, England.

Wash Care

• Hand wash* with gentle detergent, wool, or baby shampoo
• Lay flat to dry on a towel
• Apply a gentle iron with a slow steam
• Do not tumble dry

*Why we use hand wash only merino wool: Machine-washable merino wool is treated with a heat-resistant plastic, which cracks as it is washed and tumble dried. Aggressive washing damages merino, causing the wool to pill more, lose its shape and appear worn quicker than caring for hand-wash-only fibers. Overall, choosing hand wash only merino wool means items last longer and they’re more environmentally friendly.
