2026-2027 New York and New England Management Guidelines for Greenhouse Floriculture and Herbaceous Ornamentals

This regional publication contains a wealth of management information for common insect, disease, and weed pests affecting floral crops grown in greenhouses, nurseries, or landscapes in New York and New England. It also provides information on growth regulator use in ornamentals, using pesticides effectively and safely, as well as basic integrated pest management (IPM) principles. Contact information for university experts, state pesticide regulatory agencies, and diagnostic and testing services is also included. The Guide is designed to be used by greenhouse and nursery growers, landscape maintenance staff, consultants, and others who grow or maintain ornamentals.

This Guidelines title is available in your choice of formats:

1) Print Copies are spiral bound for ease of use, feature laminated covers for durability. They are well suited for use in the field or office.

2) Online Access versions can be viewed on any computer or mobile device (e.g., smart phone, tablet) and contain hyperlinks to additional resources.
